Cookie policy

Four first-party cookies to run the site, plus Google Analytics only if you accept it. No third-party advertising and no session recording.

What we set

CookieWhat it doesLasts
pc_sessionKeeps you signed in after you have signed the wallet message. Signed and httpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it.30 days
wagmi.storeRemembers which wallet you connected, so a page refresh does not disconnect you. Holds the connector name and address, no keys.1 year
pc_refRecords the partner code you arrived with, so the referral is credited if you create an account.30 days
pc_campaignRecords which of our own adverts you clicked, so we can tell which ones are worth paying for. It is read once, when an account is created, and is never shared with the ad network or anyone else.30 days
_gaGoogle Analytics. Assigns a random id to your browser so repeat visits are counted as one visitor rather than several. Not strictly necessary.2 years
_ga_*Google Analytics. Holds the state of your current visit for the same property. Not strictly necessary.2 years

Which of these you actually need

The first three are strictly necessary: without them you cannot stay signed in, your wallet disconnects on every page load, and a partner does not get credited for a referral they earned. Consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, so those are set without asking. The fourth, pc_campaign, is first-party, records only which of our own adverts you clicked, and is read once.

Google Analytics is not strictly necessary, so we ask before loading it. Until you accept, the script is never fetched and none of its cookies are set — declining is not a preference we record and ignore, it means nothing is loaded at all. Your answer is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and is never sent to us.

We use it only to count visits and see which pages get used. It is not used for advertising, we do not sell what it collects, and it is never joined to your wallet address. Nothing on the site behaves differently if you decline. To change your mind later, clear this site's data and the question comes back.

We run no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no other third-party scripts that could set cookies of their own. Our own ad slots are served from our own database and track only an anonymous click count.

Local storage

Your browser also stores a random device id and your sound preference locally. The device id is only ever sent to us as a salted hash and is used to stop one person claiming the signup bonus repeatedly. Clearing site data removes both.

Turning them off

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will sign you out, disconnect your wallet on every page load, and drop any referral attribution — the site will otherwise still work.
